Will I own my website when it is complete?
After full payment, we hand over the agreed website source files and deliverables, and the appropriate website access. Your domain and hosting can be held in your own accounts. Third-party software, stock imagery and licensed assets remain subject to their licence terms. Your quotation identifies any exclusions.
Can I move my website to another hosting company?
We aim for a practical transfer after handover and provide the agreed files and access. The destination host must support the chosen platform and any licensed tools. Some managed services cannot be transferred unchanged; we'll explain those dependencies before implementation.
What does “self-managed” mean?
A content management system (CMS) lets you edit supported text, images and services through a dashboard without programming. Business Plus also supports article publishing; Online Store supports products, prices, stock and orders. Starter and Professional can be ordered as Standard websites without a CMS or as self-managed websites at the listed higher price. Redesigns, technical updates and new features are separate.
How do you count pages, sections and products?
Starter includes one URL with up to six sections—not six separate pages. Professional includes up to five information pages and Business Plus up to ten; the three initial blog posts in Business Plus are template-based entries outside its information-page allowance. Online Store includes up to five information pages in addition to shop/product templates. Its 20-product allowance means we enter the first 20 records; you can add further products through the store dashboard after handover. Extra pages or initial product uploads are separately priced.
Do packages include a contact form and SEO?
Our base website packages include one simple enquiry form routed to a designated inbox. Its setup depends on compatible hosting or a form service; paid third-party fees are separate. Basic SEO means relevant page titles, meta descriptions and heading structure—not ongoing marketing campaigns or a promise to rank on Google. A verified domain and suitable hosting are needed to make the website live.
Do you provide business and e-commerce websites?
Yes, under Professional Web Design. Business websites focus on presenting information and generating enquiries. E-commerce sites add products, a cart, checkout and operational processes. Each has its own dedicated service page.
Can you build an accommodation website?
Yes. A basic accommodation showcase displays rooms, amenities, images and contact or WhatsApp booking enquiries. An advanced booking website can include availability, reservations, deposits and agreed integrations. Advanced booking requirements receive a tailored quote.
I already have a domain and hosting. Can I use them?
Usually, provided your existing setup supports the chosen website. We'll assess compatibility and access. The Project Estimator asks about an existing domain, hosting and business email so we can avoid unnecessary duplicate charges.
What if I don't own a domain yet?
We can help you choose and arrange one. Domain availability and annual fees depend on the extension and registrar. We recommend registering the domain in your own name, with the charge itemised in your quote.
Is hosting, email and SSL included in the build price?
Not by default. Hosting, domains, paid mailboxes and third-party services are listed separately unless the written quote includes them. Where hosting includes SSL at no extra cost, we won't add a separate SSL charge.
Can I pay a deposit instead of the full amount?
Yes, after we review your emailed or WhatsApp enquiry and you approve a complete written quotation. We can then arrange a 50% deposit with the balance before handover, or full upfront payment. We do not offer payment links or accept payments directly from estimates.
Does my website require a maintenance contract?
No. Website Maintenance is optional. For compatible business websites, Essential includes a monthly check and report without content edits; Business Care adds 30 minutes of existing-content edits monthly; Growth Care allows up to two hours. New pages, emergency work and unused time carried forward are excluded. See the full care-plan details. Online-store care is tailored after a review.
Are revisions included?
Yes—two consolidated revision rounds are included in the website-build packages. Each round is one organised list of changes to the approved design and content within the agreed page count. A redesign, extra page, new feature or additional round is priced separately before proceeding.
How long does a website take?
Timing depends on the website scope, content readiness, integrations and the review cycle. We'll propose an achievable programme as part of your approved quotation.
